“I’ve trained in teaching yoga, convinced that there was much more to it than physical postures. It became an art of living that connects the body, heart and mind. The world we live in today calls us to know we are living in a precious time. Knowledge has never been so accessible, never have personal development and the quest for meaning occupied such a central place in our lives. Everyone is called to evolve, to open their consciousness in resonance with a universal field in a collective movement. Let’s meet yourself who you are now!”

Meet Aviva
Aviva grew up in South Africa and was introduced to yoga as a child in the mid-1970s. She attended classes with her mother during school holidays, but it wasn’t until a back injury in the late 1980s that she discovered Iyengar yoga and experienced firsthand how yoga can support physical healing as well as mental and spiritual well-being.
In 2000, Aviva was introduced to Vinyasa yoga and was instantly hooked. She completed her 200-hour RYT in 2011 and her 500-hour RYT in December 2019. She has designed and led many yoga retreats to Greece.
Aviva loves supporting students in exploring their own practice with curiosity and kindness. Her classes focus on breath, mindfulness, and steady strength, offering a space where students can slow down, tune in, and feel more balanced—on the mat and in everyday life.
